Bone marrow stem cell therapy

Why bone marrow
Bone marrow is one of the richest sources of adult stem cells in the body, containing both mesenchymal stem cells and haematopoietic stem cells. The cells used in this treatment are donor-derived. The procedure is carried out by specialist physicians under the clinic's medical protocols, and suitability is assessed for each patient beforehand.
How the treatment works
The treatment is completed in a single visit and takes about one hour, including consultation and infusion.

Bone marrow stem cells from a screened donor are used.

The cells are concentrated and purified in a sterile laboratory.

The prepared cells are administered by intravenous infusion.

Treatments are held once a month, in the morning, at BRM Clinic in Bangkok.

Important information
- This treatment uses cells that have not been approved as a pharmaceutical product by the regulatory authorities of Japan, Thailand, the United States or the European Union. It is provided as private medical practice under the responsibility of the treating physician.
- The cells are donor-derived (allogeneic) and are not collected from the patient. They are sourced from donors in Eastern Europe and Russia. Please confirm with the treating physician how donors are screened and which facility prepares the cells.
- No equivalent therapy has received marketing approval in Japan, Thailand, the United States or the European Union. Approval status should be confirmed with the treating physician before deciding.
- Because the cells are donor-derived, immune or rejection reactions and the transmission of infection cannot be ruled out. Other possible effects include fever, rash, headache and, rarely, allergic reaction after infusion. Suitability is assessed individually and treatment may be declined.
- Results vary between individuals. No specific outcome is promised.
